I don’t know where you live, but it’s really hot here in beautiful Cornwall, Ontario. It’s the perfect weather for iced coffee. True you can always go to one of those coffee houses and get one fast. But did you know that making your own iced coffee at home is easy as 1, 2, 3?
Here a fool-proof recipe to make this delicious iced beverage, for very little money.
Simply make 1 cup of strong percolator coffee (if you have an espresso machine, simply make two double espressos). After, fill the largest glass or cup you have with ice. When the coffee is done, add 1 tbs of sweetened condensed milk (Eagle Brand) to the coffee and stir until it’s all dissolved (for a lower fat version you can substitute with 1 tbs of honey or agave syrup). Lastly, pour the coffee over the ice, give it a good stir so that the ice melts a little, add a splash of milk (any kind of milk works, even soy), then one last quick stir and enjoy!
