Grilled asparagus from Love Love Food

When you cook asparagus on the barbecue, it needs little flavor enhancement (like a kick!), this is mostly because flavors are so specific on their own. Here is an easy and healthy way to prepare them. this easy recipe for grilled asparagus will surely become a family favorite!

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound fresh asparagus
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Preparation:
Toss together all ingredients, making sure asparagus is well coated with salt and olive oil.
Place on the grill and allow to cook for at least 5 minutes, turning occasionally.
As a taste twist you can add a splash of balsamic vinegar before you cook them (the caramelization that forms is quite “sweet”).
